Hello again from your team at Broome Village Hall, the clocks have moved o Summer Time and Spring should really be showing itself. So, come on in from out in the garden, kick of your shoes, sit back and enjoy The Parishioner.
At time of writing I’m preparing for the Curry & Quiz Night, very pleased to say that it’s a complete sell out, so thanks to all for your support and sorry to those who were unable to get tickets. We really do have to put a limit on the ticket sales, purely for every one’s comfort.
So, what’s next? HOT CROSS BUNS, Good Friday Morning 19 April. @ Broome Village Hall. Doors open at 8 am Regardless of the BREXIT “cock up” we will be keeping our prices the same as previous years, £2.50 for your Hot Cross Bun Breakfast with buns coming out of the oven all morning. Take buns home @ 50p each. You won’t get them any fresher. Same Olde recipe that my father passed down to me, proper old-fashioned quality.
April will see our last Soup Lunch for the season but we will be back in the Autumn all ready to start again. To all our ladies that make up the team, I must say thank you and of course the cake makers. What a great team we have, you are priceless, ladies. Even old Pat Peck for putting the tables out each time. Thanks Pat.
Best wishes to you all,
Fred. 01986 895414.
