There will be a meeting of C.A.M.E.O. Club on Friday 22ND NOVEMBER from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in Broome Village Hall. All are welcome.
Join us for tea, coffee and homemade cakes, maybe have some fun with a game of cards, scrabble or dominoes or just have a chat and meet people. We have a selection of books to borrow. The cost is just £1 including refreshments.
Hope to see you there.

BORDER VILLAGES COMMUNITY GROUP
The Border Villages Community Group coffee mornings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 1030 – 1200 at Broome Village hall.
Our aim is to encourage residents, friends and neighbours to meet up once a month to enjoy the great community spirit, have a tea/coffee, a chat, a fun quiz and a raffle. All are welcome. Entrance is only 50p per person (and it’s not just for retired people, it’s for everyone).
Well this community never fails to impress me, we held our October coffee morning in aid of the McMillan Cancer campaign.
Can I first thank our treasurer, Marilyn Bradly for organising and running the show on the day a magnificent effort. Secondly, for everyone who helped with cake donations and on the stalls.
But most importantly, can I thank you the community, who attended. Your marvellous generosity helped raise a magnificent £433.80, so a very well done to you all, what a target to beat next year.
This month the 6th November will be the usual tea/coffee, chat, quiz and raffle, which we hope that you’ll all attend. (A little taster for our December 4th coffee morning, a musical item, I shall say no more!!!!)
So see you all next coffee morning, keep warm and safe.
Your BVCG team.
