Coffee Morning – Broome Village Hall
A very happy New Year to you all. The coffee mornings have started again and although slightly odd having to do it through masks, I think that January’s coffee morning went quite well.
We enjoyed our usual tea/coffee and biscuits (obviously masks off for them), followed by bingo and a raffle.
Many thanks to those hardy souls who attended, it’s always difficult in the current climate (both seasonally and politically) as to, if any are going to turn up.

February 2nd is the next event, so we’ll see you there, quiz this time I’m informed and remember The Border Villages Community Group coffee mornings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 1030 – 1200 at Broome Village hall.

Our aim is to encourage residents, friends and neighbours to meet up once a month to enjoy the great community spirit, have a tea/coffee, a chat, a fun quiz and a raffle. All are welcome. Entrance is only 50p per person.

The BVCG team

Broome Village hall is open for groups and activities as usual, the committee is following all government guidelines and hirers are reminded of their responsibilities under those guidelines.

During this current uncertainty, can we please ask that if you use the hall, that upon completion of your activities that as well as all the usual stuff of cleaning up and lights off and securing the building that you also remember to turn the heating down as well.
The cost of fuel and electricity is extremely high as everyone knows and with your help we can ensure that we run the hall as efficiently as possible within the resources that we have.

The hall can be booked through our booking clerk Julie Pilgrim 01986 894023 or through our website www. Broome village hall.com
