Welcome to the June update of the Broome Village Hall, HM the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations kick of with a Bank holiday at the beginning of June.

Both Broome and Ditchingham Parish Councils have joined forces and are organising joint events, the first will be the lighting of the beacon at the rear of Broome Village Hall at 9.45pm on Thursday 2nd June. The village hall will be open from 8pm for teas/coffees/soft drinks with some 1950’s music playing.

Could we ask that those groups who regularly use the hall to submit a member of their group to sit on the village hall management committee so that we have a broader prospective of the community. Remember the village hall the centre of the village and is for the benefit of that community, so please think of stepping forward. Thank you.

The Village Hall Management Committee.
