DITCHINGHAM DEFIBRILLATORS

DITCHINGHAM STORE

The Defibrillator outside Ditchingham Store is for use by ANYONE, trained or untrained to use in an emergency 24/7.  The code needed to open the cabinet can be obtained from staff in the shop or by dialling 999.  The defibrillator can be taken to where it is needed.  Time is of the essence.  The machine tells and shows users exactly what to do.

THE MALTINGS PAVILLION

Bungay Football Club have one available inside by the bar – this is only available when the Pavillion is open.

DITCHINGHAM UNITED CHARITIES

Are you planning to attend university for the first time in the 2021-22 academic year? If so, you may be eligible for a one-off grant of £300 if you are a current resident of the village and have been accepted for a course at a university. This is intended to help with the cost of books or specialist equipment needed for the course. 

To apply, you must:

  • be between the ages of eighteen & twenty-five,
  • have lived in Ditchingham for the past 3 years, 
  • have an official offer from a university that you have accepted, and
  • you have not previously secured a DUC student grant. 

You will need to send documentary proof of your residency, age and a letter of acceptance to study at a university.
