Hedenham Litter Pick

On a glorious sunny Saturday morning on the 18th September, 14 intrepid villagers re-started the annual Litter Pick. After meeting at the Village Hall and having a Health and Safety briefing by John Connor everyone paired up and set off after deciding which roads we each would cover.

At the end of two hours over 30 bags of rubbish had been collected. What was disappointing is that having cleared one part of a road on returning back to the Village Hall further litter had been thrown down but it was heartening to have so many drivers giving the thumbs up sign for our efforts.

Our thanks to John Connor for organising it and for Sally Connor for running round ensuring we were all safe and well.

Hedenham Harvest Thanksgiving

We are aware that many churches have had a successful Harvest Festival with beautifully decorated churches. This year Hedenham was no different and the PCC would like to acknowledge our grateful thanks to Rachael Moralee, and Pat Tyacke for decorating the church and Suki Dell for foraging for suitable material. There was also a beautiful arrangement by someone who at the time of writing we do not know but again would like to publicly thank them whoever they are!
